Access Training (Wales) Limited provide a comprehensive range of accredited courses for individuals who want to become professional tradespeople, including kitchen fitters, Gas Safe engineers and skilled electricians.

Cadwaladers is a family run chain of cafes that originated in Gwynedd, Wales. The original ice cream parlour was introduced by husband and wife David and Hannah Cadwalader in 1927 in Criccieth and was originally run as a general store. Cadwaladers became a huge part of the culture on the Llyn Peninsula and the reputation of the Ice Cream spread far and wide.
Cadwaladers can now be found in Porthmadog and Betws Y Coed in North Wales, Mermaid Quay Cardiff Bay, Barry Island and Porthcawl in South Wales, Tenby in West Wales and at Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire. Cadwaladers is now owned by the Brierley family who, together with a team of 100, operate the eight stores.

With its head office in Pyle, Bridgend, and with 3000 customers a year extending across South and Mid Wales as well as the South West of England, it is one of the largest companies of its kind in the region. Dunraven Windows prides itself on top quality components, a complete integration of in house facilities, and continues to expand after more than 35 years in the business.
Essilor UK & Ireland is the leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of optical lenses in the United Kingdom. Operating in around 100 countries, the company employs around 400 people in the UK and has its head office in Thornbury, near Bristol.
It supplies a large number of opticians across UK & Ireland, and has developed some of the world's most up-to-date lens surfacing equipment.
Essilor is responsible for creating the Varilux lens, the world's first varifocal, which was invented in 1959. Since then over 200 million Varilux lenses have been manufactured worldwide.
Filco Supermarkets Limited is an independent grocery chain with a head office in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan. A family run business established over 70 years ago, the company now employs over 300 people across ten stores in four local authority areas (Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Rhondda Cynon Taf). Filco offer a wide range of products from fresh fruit and veg to locally sourced meat, with some of the company’s larger stores offering an in-store butchers counter.
Hallmark Care Homes is care home provider providing nursing, residential and dementia care services to older people. We currently have eight care homes based in Wales and nine in England.

The HFMA is a not-for-profit, but financially sound, organisation that was founded in 1965 to represent the interests of manufacturers and suppliers of specialist health products in the UK. It is the authoritative and responsible voice for the UK natural products industry and its members play a crucial role in helping to improve public health. The HFMA have around 150 member companies, approximately 75% of which are small or medium enterprises, include many suppliers of specialist food supplements and health foods. The HFMA works effectively to represent the interests of the industry at all levels of the legislative, regulatory and Parliamentary process, and works proactively with other industry associations to achieve this aim.
Heatforce was founded by current CEO Paul Maddocks, who started the company over 35 years ago as a sole trader supplying and installing central heating systems. Today, Heatforce employees 90 people, operating out of the main Cardiff Showroom and office, along with the Renewable Energy Showroom in Radyr. Heatforce supply, install, service, repair and maintain all different types of boilers and heating systems. Over the years they have diversified and now specialise in other products. They now supply and install fires, fireplaces, stoves, bathrooms and renewable technologies.
Based 5 miles north of Cardigan, in a former pub (the Gogerddan Arms) on the main A487 coast road between Aberystwyth and Haverfordwest, In The Welsh Wind specialise in creating bespoke spirits tailored to customers in their copper pot stills Meredith and Afanc, and their state of the art 5,000 litre whisky still. Every spirit they create is unique because of their truly small batch and individual approach.
In The Welsh Wind produce and sell their own, award-winning, In the Welsh Wind and Eccentric Spirits ranges. They are also (Summer 2023) the only distillery in Wales producing a 100% grain to glass single malt Welsh whisky crafted from locally grown grain which is malted, distilled and matured on site.

SRS provides advice on Trading Standards matters to the company.
Just Perfect Catering has its head office in Bridgend and was founded by husband and wife team David and Louise Owens in 2009. They now employ more than 100 people, providing location catering across Wales and the South West of England, and cater for thousands of visitors across many busy attractions including the National Lido of Wales in Pontypridd and the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl. The company provides on-site catering at residential care homes and for hundreds of employees at the offices of a major insurance company in Newport, whilst also offering catering solutions such as coffee and deli bars, special events and a catering consultancy service.
Lorax Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, based in Barry, operating a "mail order" business, with the majority of their business carried out under the trading name of Heinnie Haynes. Heinnie Haynes is a Cardiff based business that was established in 1996 as an online retailer specialising in the sale of collectors knives.
Over the years, the business has grown steadily, which has allowed vast expansion to the range of knives, tools and equipment that Heinnie Haynes now supply. Lorax Ltd also trades under the following names, on a smaller scale to Heinnie Haynes: Persson Jones Sporting Goods, Marathon Watch UK and Maxpedition UK.
One Stop is a retail convenience business with over 900 shops and a keyfocus on being the best store for customers in the neighbourhood.
Since 2003, One Stop have been a subsidiary of Tesco, but operate as a separate business. The company has stores in both England and Wales, amnd is a majhor employer with over 10,600 colleagues.
Some One Stop stores are franchise run.
Marston’s is a leading UK operator having been part of the British pub landscape for over 180 years, we have grown from a local family run business to a PLC with 1,400 pubs and around 11,000 employees who have helped shape the company they are today.

Nathaniel Car Sales sell a wide range of new and used cars, as well as offering servicing, MOT's and vehicle repair services to both consumers and businesses. Brutons the Bakers was established in Cardiff in 1898, by Harry Windsor Bruton. The bakery saw four generations of the ‘Bruton’ family at the helm before retirement in 2002 which saw the ‘Best’ family taking over the business.

SRS provides advice to Sainsbury's on Welsh devolved matters, and works in partnership with colleagues at Cherwell District Council to deliver this advice.
Sloane Home Ltd manufacture Lone Stag Spirits, an award winning collection of artisan liqueurs, made by hand at the Director's home in Wales. They also have a small range of other artisan products, such as hand poured candles crafted in a small mill in the heart of Wales.
The alcoholic products they sell at licensed events, in corporate hampers and supply a small amount to bars, restaurants and hotels.They mostly engage in business to business contracts for supplying hampers but sell a small number of products to consumers all over the UK via their website. The business is new and is looking to expand.

We are Waitrose Ltd's Primary Authority partner in Wales, working closely with our colleagues at Bracknell Forest Council and Surrey County Council to deliver Primary Authority advice on devolved matters and Welsh Government policy areas.
