Covid19: Letter to large employers and hospitality businesses

A letter has been sent to large businesses on December 7th, encouraging staff to be alert to the symptoms of Covid-19.

The arrival of the more contagious Omicron variant into our area is an increased threat to the wellbeing of our communities, which is  why the letter from Head of Shared Regulatory Services, Dave Holland and Executive Director of Public Health, Fiona Kinghorn has been sent to businesses.

In the letter, employers are being encouraged to urge their employees to receive their booster vaccination, to book PCR tests if symptoms develop and to contact us if any advice on Covid risk assessments is needed.
