Training Courses

If you run, or plan to run a food business it is essential you have a good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety.

It is a legal requirement that any food handler within your business is trained commensurate with their duties. This does not necessarily mean that they have to have a food safety certificate, however you will need to demonstrate that they have been trained appropriately.   

It is recommended that the person in charge of the business and/or supervisors should be trained to a higher level than those they are supervising. You may wish to consider undertaking further training if you currently have the level two food hygiene training.

Food Safety and Hygiene

We provide Highfield accredited training in both Levels 2 and 3

HACCP

An introduction to the principles of HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points), which can help support those who are a part of a HACCP team within a catering environment.

Allergy Awareness

This qualification is aimed at food handlers and other staff involved in food preparation and service who work within the catering industry or who wish to do so.
